If we cancel events
Being outdoors, we may occasionally cancel because of the weather. This doesn't happen that often, as skin is waterproof and wearing plenty of layers means you can keep warm.
Adverse, Extreme Weather. High winds (force 6 and above), named storms, snow and lightening storms make it unsafe to operate in the woodland environment. If we cancel, we will do our best to reschedule and offer you another date. If we cannot find another suitable date we will give a full refund. If you cannot make the rescheduled date we will give you a refund. We are not liable for any associated expenses you may incur, for example travel, food, equipment purchases or accommodation.
Staff Illness or Unavailability. If we cancel due to these issues, we will do our best to allocate you to another course or session. If we cannot do this, we will give you a full refund. We are not liable for any associated expenses you may incur, for example travel, food, equipment purchases or accommodation.
Our timing of cancellations. If we are going to cancel we aim to give you as much notice as possible. For courses lasting more than two days, we aim to give at least two weeks notice. Rarely it may only be a days notice, because of circumstances beyond our control. We will give a refund if we cancel. We are not liable for any associated expenses you may incur, for example travel, food, equipment purchases or accommodation.
Contacting you if we cancel. We will contact you by email or phone, or both and aim to make sure that everyone has replied so we know that you have the message. It is your responsibility to stay in touch so that we can get messages to you.
If you cancel a booking
As we are a very small outfit, once you have paid a course fee we have allocated the space and staff time. We need to pay people even when you cancel bookings.
Course or session fees. If you have paid a course or session fee in full you can receive a refund for your fee, minus a 10% administration charge, for up to FOUR WEEKS before the course or session is due to start.
If you cancel for any reason after the four week date, the whole course fee is forfeit.
If you can find someone else to take your place at least TWO WEEKS before the course or session, then the booking may be transferred, at our discretion.
Deposits. If you have paid a deposit to secure a place , that is completely non-refundable.
Contacting us if you wish to cancel. It is your responsibility to make sure we have received notice of your desire to cancel in the timeframe.
